Community Association Director
About The Position
Associa Principal Management Group of North Texas is hiring a Community Director. This role is for an experienced Community Manager ready to grow into leading people, influencing branch operations, and shaping the success of an entire team. The position combines team leadership, operational oversight, stakeholder relationships, branch-level strategic support, and management of a small HOA portfolio. The ideal candidate understands community association management, including budgets, boards, homeowners, competing priorities, and the unique challenges of supporting communities in Texas. More importantly, they are ready to lead people, not just properties.
Requirements
- Strong HOA/community association management experience
- Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, or team-lead experience
- HOA budgeting experience
- Knowledge of Texas HOA management laws
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of association financials
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach and strong time-management skills
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- 7 - 10 years of directly related or closely related experience
- 5 - 7 years of Management and/or Supervisory experience
- 5 – 7 years of Community Association experience
Nice To Haves
- Master of Business Administration Degree Preferred
- Relevant professional, industry, and leadership experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and support a team of Community Managers
- Provide oversight for team and community operations
- Help develop talent and strengthen team performance
- Build strong relationships with boards, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders
- Partner with leadership on strategic planning, business development, and financial operations
- Continue managing a small portfolio, keeping you connected to the communities and clients you know best
- Expand your leadership experience and take the next step in your community management career
