About The Position

CAMS is seeking an experienced, full-time Community Compliance Inspector to conduct property inspections and manage violations for a portfolio of community associations in Greenville, South Carolina, and surrounding areas. The inspector examines community properties and common areas to ensure compliance with governing documents, communicates and monitors deed-restriction infractions, investigates complaints, tracks violation statuses, and produces reports. The role involves working both inside and outside the office and using tablet, smartphone, or computer software to maintain inspection and violation data. The position is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, at $17.00–$18.00 per hour. Business mileage for travel to and from properties for inspections is reimbursed.

Requirements

Self-motivated, while willing to ask questions and seek help when needed.
Team-oriented and willing to assist managers and team members.
Able to recognize priorities, organize, and execute tasks effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate accurately, concisely, clearly, and in an organized and complete manner.
Reliable transportation, with proof of valid insurance and vehicle registration.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Comfortable using tablet software.
Strong organizational and observational skills, attention to detail, and follow-up skills.
Knowledge of association governing documents.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

Drive throughout communities to inspect properties and common areas; common-area inspections may require exiting the vehicle.
Investigate complaints and respond as directed.
Record new violations and update the status of existing violations.
Maintain data and update violations using a tablet, smartphone, or computer.
Communicate with managers, other employees, and clients.
Produce reports as directed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
