About The Position
For Our Future is hiring Community Canvassers and Team Leaders in Columbus, Ohio, to conduct door-to-door voter outreach through Election Day, November 3. The team will connect directly with voters, share campaign messages supporting candidates who champion progressive values, encourage voter participation, and collect survey responses. The organization is hiring immediately, and positions run through November 3, with possibilities for advancement afterward. Canvasser positions start at $27 per hour, and Team Leader positions start at $29 per hour. The role offers paid training, overtime pay, sick pay, driver and shift bonuses, and bonuses for referring friends. Employees must be eligible to work in the United States and provide original, unexpired documents from the Lists of Acceptable Documents to complete I-9 verification upon hire. Requirements
- Strong communication skills and willingness and enthusiasm to speak with everyone.

- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Upon hire, ability to present original, unexpired acceptable documents for I-9 verification.

Responsibilities
- Engage with the public in a friendly and respectful manner.
- Deliver a compelling campaign message and collect complete survey answers from voters.
- Participate in staff training to improve outreach skills.
- Follow the campaign's safety protocols.
- For Team Leaders: Manage a small group of canvassers in the field, check in with them periodically throughout the day, and debrief with them at the end of the day.
- For Team Leaders: Ensure each canvasser has the materials needed to be successful.
- For Team Leaders: Assist directors with canvasser training and administrative work.
