About The Position

Sentry Management is hiring an experienced Community Association Manager (Portfolio) for its Howell, Michigan market. The Portfolio Manager oversees the associations they manage and coordinates with Boards of Directors, vendors, and the Sentry Home Office to provide exemplary customer service while maintaining and achieving company goals. The role includes support and training, and compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• Previous community management experience.
• Maintain licensing in some states.
• Professional, organized, and self-motivated.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid motor vehicle operator’s license and a clean driving record.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet the needs of each assigned Board and community to sustain client satisfaction.
• Prepare for, attend, and participate in annual and general meetings.
• Manage vendor proposals and contracts, risk management, insurance, maintenance requests, and architectural requests and approvals.
• Coordinate employees, including janitorial, maintenance, and administrative staff.
• Collect invoices, code them for payment, and follow up on monthly assessments due.
• Act as a liaison between association boards and legal counsel.
• Prepare manager reports and financial summaries for boards.
• Manage association onboarding and exits.
