The Communications Specialist II supports the Marketing & Communications Senior Manager in executing the Center’s communications strategy, marketing plans, campaigns, and public-facing activities. This highly creative, hands-on position develops written, graphic, digital, photographic, and video content; produces marketing materials; manages digital communications; and documents the Center’s work and impact through storytelling and multimedia. The Communications Specialist II independently manages projects from concept through completion and understands how individual communications activities support broader organizational goals. The position requires creativity, strong organization, attention to detail, sound judgment, collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. The position also requires an understanding of civic engagement and public affairs at the tribal, state, and federal levels and how government, public policy, community engagement, and communications intersect with the Center’s work.
