About The Position

Archer Western Construction is seeking a Common Laborer for the Central Water Group/Rowlett Creek PP-03 Train A Blowers & Electrical project in Plano, Texas. The role involves physical labor at construction sites, including commercial, industrial, and heavy civil projects. The laborer may use hand and power tools, prepare job sites, and assist with other assigned duties. Requirements

Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffolds and ladders.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and potentially work in adverse weather conditions.
Ability to comply with safety policies and procedures and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
Good manual dexterity; ability to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

One year of verifiable experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform physical labor tasks as instructed by a supervisor.
Work with crew members and operate hand and power tools, including drills and hammers, as directed by management.
Clean and prepare construction sites, including erecting scaffolding, removing and properly disposing of debris and waste, and digging trenches.
Load and unload construction supplies around the worksite manually and with equipment.
