The Virginia Employment Commission (VEC) is seeking a detail-driven, highly organized Commission Appeals Legal Assistant to support the full lifecycle of unemployment insurance appeal cases. In this critical role, you will ensure appeals are processed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with state and federal requirements. You’ll manage case intake, maintain records, support Special Examiners, prepare legal documents, produce certified transcripts, and serve as a resource for inquiries from claimants, employers, representatives, and court personnel. Your work forms part of the official administrative record for Commission decisions and circuit court appeals.
