Commissary Agent - contracted w/ Allegiant
About The Position
The Commissary Agent prepares and delivers aircraft catering carts, bins, and onboard amenities for scheduled flights. The role includes stocking carts and bins with beverages, ice, liquor, and snacks; transporting them to aircraft; removing empty equipment; receiving vendor deliveries; managing supplies and paperwork; and assisting with aircraft loading and unloading. The agent also cleans and services cabin interiors, including the cockpit and lavatories, and drains lavatories when needed. The position requires professional interaction with airline representatives, customers, vendors, and colleagues, as well as compliance with FAA, airline, airport, safety, and security requirements. This position is contracted with Allegiant Air, and flight benefits are offered.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds for extended periods.
- Ability to read and write English.
- Ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
- Availability to work varied hours, including swing and graveyard shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug test, and obtain security clearance.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be willing to work outdoors in all types of weather and in elevated airport noise levels.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Must be able to work at heights up to 25 feet or more depending on the aircraft.
- Must have physical dexterity for repetitive tasks and motions, including bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, and twisting, and sustaining those positions for extended periods.
- Must have sufficient vision to safely perform the essential functions of the position.

Responsibilities
- Prepare aircraft catering carts and bins with beverages, ice, liquor, and snacks.
- Drive a truck to aircraft.
- Deliver stocked catering carts and bins to aircraft and remove empty carts and bins.
- Handle food and goods courteously, promptly, accurately, and carefully, including loading and unloading.
- Inventory supplies and complete necessary reports and forms.
- Receive deliveries from vendors.
- Assist with loading and unloading aircraft.
- Clean and service cabin interiors, including the cockpit and lavatories, and drain lavatories when needed.
- Interact professionally with airline representatives at aircraft.
- Communicate with customers, vendors, and colleagues by telephone and/or radio for planning purposes.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure FAA, airline, and airport regulations are followed.
- Enforce safety and security measures and protect sensitive zones.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the base supervisor.
