About The Position

Ring's End, Inc. is hiring a full-time Commercial Truck Driver to distribute building materials throughout Northern Fairfield County and parts of Western New Haven County. The driver transports materials along a designated route, loads and unloads items carefully, and ensures each delivery reaches the correct destination. The role also represents the company at delivery stops, checks in with clients about their service experience, and handles concerns with care. Drivers keep paperwork current, maintain vehicles and equipment, and drive safely and dependably.

Requirements

CDL Class B license.
Clean driving record.
Comply with safety and Department of Transportation rules and regulations.
Ability to meet physical requirements, such as lifting heavy items and/or using a forklift.
Product knowledge.
Organization and reliability.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Transport building materials in a timely manner along a designated route.
Load and unload building materials carefully to prevent damage.
Deliver materials to the correct destinations.
Represent the company positively at each delivery stop.
Check in with clients about their service experience and handle concerns with care.
Keep required paperwork up to date.
