About The Position
The Commercial Tire Service Technician is responsible for sales, service, and maintenance of commercial tires and wheels. The role provides excellent customer service and completes work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct. On-the-job training is available.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
- Frequent lifting of 35–75 pounds.
- Frequent bending, twisting, and kneeling; continuous squatting, reaching, walking, and standing.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain tires and wheels, including repairing, rotating, and inflating tires.
- Attach and rebalance wheels.
- Install, rebuild, relearn, and calibrate tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS).
- Wash tires and wheels.
- Test and install batteries.
- Use and maintain equipment.
- Assist other employees.
- Test drive vehicles.
- Operate service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
- Provide excellent customer service and promote store sales by using the Best Tire Value Promise to engage customers.
