About The Position

Pomp’s Tire Service is seeking an Outside Commercial Tire Service Technician to perform roadside service, repair, inspection, and maintenance of commercial customer tires in an outdoor environment. The technician responds to service calls and works independently in various weather conditions to help keep commercial vehicles operating safely. The role may require night shifts, overtime, and non-standard hours, often with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment driver screening.
• Willingness to work night shifts, overtime, and non-standard hours with minimal supervision.
• Ability to safely change and repair commercial tires on the road in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 150 pounds occasionally.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred experience with commercial vehicles and general mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to roadside service calls to change and replace tires on commercial vehicles.
• Mount, dismount, and replace tires efficiently while on the road.
• Inspect tires and vehicles to identify additional issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper care of tools and equipment.
• Provide roadside tire service independently in all weather conditions.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned to support team operations.
