About The Position

Pomp’s Tire Service is hiring an Outside Commercial Tire Service Technician to perform roadside repair, inspection, and maintenance of commercial customer tires in an outdoor environment. The technician responds to roadside calls and works independently in varied weather conditions, maintaining tools and equipment and supporting team operations. The role may involve night shifts, overtime, and non-standard hours.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment driver screening.
• Willingness to work night shifts, overtime, and non-standard hours with minimal supervision.
• Ability to safely change and repair commercial tires on the road in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 150 pounds occasionally.

• Experience with commercial vehicles.
• General mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to roadside service calls to change and replace tires on commercial vehicles.
• Mount, dismount, and replace tires efficiently while on the road.
• Inspect tires and vehicles to identify additional issues.
• Keep the work environment clean and organized, including properly maintaining tools and equipment.
• Provide roadside tire service independently in all weather conditions.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned to support team operations.
