About The Position

Pomp’s Tire Service is hiring an Outside Commercial Tire Technician to perform repair, inspection, and maintenance work on commercial customer tires in an outdoor environment. The role responds to roadside service calls and provides tire service for commercial vehicles, working independently in varying weather conditions and with minimal supervision. The technician is also responsible for maintaining tools and equipment, keeping the work area clean and organized, and supporting team operations with additional assigned tasks.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment driver screening.
• Willingness to work night shifts, overtime, and non-standard hours with minimal supervision.
• Ability to safely change and repair commercial tires on the road in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 150 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to roadside service calls to change and replace tires on commercial vehicles.
• Mount, dismount, and replace tires efficiently while on the road.
• Inspect tires and vehicles to identify additional issues.
• Keep the work environment clean and organized, including maintaining tools and equipment.
• Provide roadside tire service independently in all weather conditions.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned to support team operations.
