About The Position

Pomp’s Tire Service is seeking a Commercial Tire Technician to repair, inspect, and maintain commercial customer tires to support vehicle safety and performance. The role includes mounting, dismounting, and replacing tires; assessing customer needs; inspecting tires and vehicles for additional issues; and performing rotations, balancing, and repairs. The technician also maintains an orderly work area and cares for tools and equipment, while completing other tasks assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to read and verify work order information.
• Ability to lift, carry, or move 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, and replace tires on commercial vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Assess and troubleshoot customer tire needs and provide effective solutions.
• Inspect tires and vehicles for additional issues or maintenance needs.
• Perform tire rotations, balancing, and repairs as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and properly care for tools and equipment.
• Complete additional tasks assigned by the manager to support team operations.
