About The Position
Pomp’s Tire – OE Division is seeking Commercial Tire Technicians with experience in multi-piece tire/wheel assemblies. The role involves safely mounting new tires and wheels manually and with semi-automated machinery in an indoor, production line-style environment.
Requirements
- Commercial and/or off-the-road (OTR) tire and wheel mounting knowledge is helpful.
- Positive attitude and self-motivation.
- Ability to work productively in a team atmosphere.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to move quickly with unrestricted mobility.
- Ability to lift 100 pounds without restriction, with frequent lifts of 30–50 pounds.
- Frequent grasping with hands, bending and standing, and pushing and pulling off-the-road tires.
- Availability to work overtime when required.
Responsibilities
- Mount single-, three-, and five-piece wheels and tires.
- Read and understand customer drawings.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned by a manager or supervisor.
