About The Position

The Commercial Tire Service Technician is responsible for sales, service, and maintenance of commercial tires and wheels. The role provides excellent customer service and completes work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct. Les Schwab offers on-the-job training for a variety of skills.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a rapid-pace environment.
• Frequent lifting of weights between 35 and 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, and kneeling, and continuous squatting, reaching, walking, and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain tires and wheels.
• Repair, rotate, and inflate tires.
• Attach and rebalance wheels.
• Install or rebuild TPMS and relearn or calibrate TPMS as needed.
• Wash tires and wheels.
• Test and install batteries.
• Use and maintain equipment.
• Assist other employees.
• Test drive vehicles.
• Operate service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Provide excellent customer service and promote store sales.
• Use the Best Tire Value Promise to engage customers.
