About The Position
Jack Laurie Group is hiring Tile Setters of all experience levels for its Fort Wayne team. The role involves installing tile on commercial projects throughout Northeast Indiana, including healthcare facilities, schools, senior living communities, offices, and other commercial spaces. Candidates may be experienced tile installers, have construction experience, or be seeking to learn a skilled trade. The company is willing to train candidates with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and desire to learn. Nice To Haves
- Construction experience is helpful for entry-level candidates but is not required.
- Commercial or residential tile installation experience.
- Ability to read plans and layouts.
- Experience with floor tile, wall tile, showers, and specialty installations.
Responsibilities
- Install ceramic, porcelain, quarry, and specialty tile products.
- Prepare surfaces for tile installation.
- Mix and apply mortar, grout, and related materials.
- Measure, cut, and set tile according to project specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe jobsite.
- Work alongside experienced installers and project leaders.
- Deliver quality workmanship on every project.
