Commercial Strategy & Analytics Manager

Industrious•Washington, DC
•$125,000 - $135,000

About The Position

Industrious is hiring a Commercial Strategy & Analytics Manager to build and refine revenue forecasting and sales pipeline analytics across its global network of flexible workspace locations. Based in New York, this individual contributor will own the models, data, and narrative that help Finance and commercial leadership anticipate business performance and make informed plans. The role will develop predictive revenue forecasts, create visibility into pipeline health, conversion rates, and sales velocity, and connect commercial forecasts with company budgets and planning cycles. It will analyze pricing, unit economics, and marketing and sales efficiency; consolidate data from sources such as Salesforce, Looker, and Snowflake; and communicate findings through clear memos and presentations. The role involves building an analytical foundation, working directly with Finance and sales leadership, and turning complex or messy data into actionable insight.

Requirements

  • Track record building and maintaining forecasting models that have guided revenue decisions.
  • Comfort working with operational and financial metrics side by side, including pipeline, conversion, and unit economics.
  • Experience turning messy, disparate data into reliable analysis largely independently, without relying on a data team to do the initial work.
  • Ability to translate complex analysis into memos and presentations that non-technical stakeholders can act on.
  • Working fluency with Excel or Google Sheets, Salesforce, Looker, and Snowflake, or directly equivalent tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a multi-unit portfolio or recurring-revenue business, such as hospitality, retail, commercial real estate, or SaaS.

Responsibilities

  • Build and continually refine models forecasting revenue performance across the global network.
  • Establish visibility into pipeline health, conversion rates, and sales velocity for commercial leadership.
  • Partner with Finance to connect commercial forecasts to company budgets and planning cycles, and develop trusted assumptions to address gaps between targets and forecasts.
  • Inform decisions on pricing, unit economics, and marketing and sales efficiency through actionable analysis.
  • Combine disparate and often messy data from Salesforce, Looker, and Snowflake into a reliable, defensible view of the business.
  • Translate models and analysis into memos and presentations that Finance and commercial leadership can act on.

Benefits

  • Heavily subsidized medical, dental, and vision plans.
  • Flexible paid time off.
  • Paid parental leave.
  • Annual professional development grants.
  • 401(k) retirement savings program.
  • Wellness initiatives and additional employee support programs.
  • Annual bonus eligibility.
  • Participation in the long-term incentive program.
