Commercial Signage Installer
About The Position
Innovative Environments is seeking an experienced Lead Installer of Commercial Signage to supervise on-site installation crews, ensuring crew safety, installation quality, world-class service, and effective communication with all parties. The role also physically installs ADA signage and requires the ability to travel out of state. The Lead Installer reviews sign packages with the Project Manager, evaluates the time, labor, equipment, tools, and transportation needed for each job, coordinates with the shipping team as needed, and ensures applicable city ADA sign codes have been researched and provided. The role includes on-site crew management, administrative reporting, real-time updates to Project Managers and clients about installation issues, and entering daily updates into Fieldwire. The position may also assist with sign assembly. Innovative Environments is a Houston-based creative team specializing in custom solutions for corporate interiors, broadcast studios, and corporate and multifamily signage projects.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Supervise the installation crew on-site, ensuring crew safety, installation quality, and effective communication.
- Physically install ADA signage.
- Meet with the Project Manager to review the full sign package.
- Evaluate the time and labor needed to complete each installation.
- Determine the equipment and tools needed for installation.
- Determine transportation arrangements for the crew and signs or products, coordinating with the shipping team as needed.
- Ensure city code requirements for ADA signs have been researched and provided.
- Enter information in the End of Install Report daily and upon completion of installation.
- Keep Project Managers and clients informed in real time about installation issues.
- Enter updates and information into Fieldwire daily.
- Assist with sign assembly.
