About The Position

K&D Factory Service is seeking experienced commercial service technicians to repair and service commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and food service equipment at restaurants, schools, hospitals, and nursing homes throughout Pennsylvania. The role covers dispatched service calls, diagnosis and repair of commercial equipment, accurate reporting of service activities, and providing excellent customer support while collaborating with internal team members. Technicians must be able to work an on-call schedule, including overtime work, and manage company-issued vehicles, tools, and equipment according to company guidelines. The position is full-time and targets technicians with at least two years of industry or related experience. Locations are served through branches in Harrisburg, York, Lancaster, Williamsport, Allentown, Altoona, and Scranton, with the posting also referencing the Selinsgrove area.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment, HVAC/R, or in a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of gas, steam, electrical, or mechanical systems.
• Driving record must align with the company's safety standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must successfully complete a background check and drug screen.

• CFESA certification or manufacturer training.

Responsibilities

• Perform dispatched service calls and diagnose and repair issues with commercial equipment.
• Report service activities accurately on a tablet after every call.
• Provide an excellent customer experience and partner with internal team members.
