About The Position

The Commercial Service Installation Technician installs, services, and maintains commercial systems, including mechanical and electrical components. The role involves installing commercial systems and related equipment to manufacturer specifications, interpreting installation documents, and performing service and maintenance to help ensure optimal equipment performance. The technician follows OSHA guidelines and job-site safety protocols, works cooperatively with team members, and communicates professionally with customers. The position also calls for continually improving installation and brazing techniques, staying informed about company services and solutions, and keeping projects on schedule and within budget. The role requires general building and tool experience, willingness to perform all aspects of supermarket installation, and the ability to travel out of town and work nights when needed. Physical work includes climbing ladders and working at heights and in varying weather conditions.

Requirements

General building and tool experience is required.
Ability to travel out of town and work nights when needed.
Strong desire to learn, grow, and take on additional responsibilities.
Willingness to perform all aspects of supermarket installation.
Must be willing to obtain a chauffeur’s license if not already held.
High school diploma or GED required.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others in a team environment.
Strong customer service skills to support client satisfaction throughout projects.
Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, reach, push, and pull regularly, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work at high elevations, climb ladders safely, and work in various weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

Commercial and/or supermarket refrigeration experience is preferred.
Brazing experience is preferred.
A certificate from a technical or trade school is a plus.
