About The Position

The Commercial Roofing Service Superintendent oversees service crews and manages commercial roofing repairs and maintenance. The role ensures safety and quality standards, delivers exceptional customer service, and partners closely with the Service Director to drive operational excellence and team performance.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 5 years of commercial roofing experience.
At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
Valid driver's license and strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems and repair practices.
Strong leadership, communication, and customer service abilities.
Ability to read plans and specifications and manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Ability to access rooftops, lift up to 50 lbs., and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

Experience with SPF, coatings, TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, BUR, and metal roofing systems.
OSHA 10/30 certification, manufacturer certifications, and service management software experience.

Responsibilities

Supervise roofing service technicians and field crews.
Coordinate inspections, leak investigations, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
Ensure quality workmanship, safety compliance, and efficient use of labor, materials, and equipment.
Serve as the primary customer contact for service projects and resolve issues professionally.
Conduct roof inspections, oversee warranty work, and maintain accurate documentation.
Track costs, manage reporting, coordinate materials and equipment, and support process improvements.
