About The Position
The Commercial Refrigeration Technician ensures that refrigeration and HVAC units in the stores are operating and continue to run efficiently. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment, as well as performing related general maintenance. The position is with an independently owned and operated retail partner location; applications and hiring decisions are handled by that location’s licensee.
Requirements
- Experience in HVAC and refrigeration repair, general maintenance, plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry is required.
- Valid driver’s license.

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform minor plumbing repairs, such as fixing faucet leaks.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC units and commercial refrigeration equipment.
- Repair and replace compressors.
- Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
- Detect and repair refrigerant leaks.
- Repair meat and/or produce equipment.
- Troubleshoot refrigeration rack systems.
