About The Position
The Refrigeration Technician’s primary function is to ensure that refrigeration and HVAC units within the stores are running and continue to run efficiently. The position includes troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment, along with related minor plumbing and general maintenance work.
Requirements
- Experience in HVAC and refrigeration repair, general maintenance, plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry is required.
- Valid driver’s license.

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform minor plumbing repairs, such as fixing faucet leaks.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC units and commercial refrigeration equipment.
- Repair and replace compressors.
- Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
- Detect refrigerant leaks.
- Repair meat and/or produce equipment.
- Troubleshoot refrigeration rack systems.
