About The Position
The Commercial Refrigeration Technician ensures that refrigeration and HVAC units in the stores are operating and continue to run efficiently. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing HVAC units and commercial refrigeration equipment, completing preventive maintenance, and performing related general maintenance work.
Requirements
- Experience in HVAC and refrigeration repair, general maintenance, plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry.
- Valid driver’s license.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform minor plumbing repairs, such as fixing faucet leaks.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC units and commercial refrigeration equipment.
- Repair and replace compressors.
- Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration and HVAC systems.
- Detect refrigerant leaks.
- Repair meat and/or produce equipment.
- Troubleshoot refrigeration rack systems.
