About The Position

General Parts Group is hiring a field service technician to travel to restaurant locations and diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen equipment, including refrigeration units, hot-side appliances, and light HVAC systems. The role involves safely operating a company vehicle, providing prompt and reliable service, and minimizing downtime for restaurant operations. Technicians deliver customer support, communicate clearly with kitchen and management staff, and work independently with little supervision. The hourly pay range is $35–$50, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets the company’s safety standards.
• EPA certification is required for refrigeration technicians.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
• Ability to use an iPad and familiarity with its use.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of commercial kitchen, refrigeration, or HVAC experience is preferred.
