About The Position

Swickard Auto Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join their in-house legal team in Las Vegas. This role will support the company's real estate transactions, dealership acquisitions, and commercial leasing needs across multiple states. The paralegal will be involved in supporting transactions from Letter of Intent (LOI) through closing, ensuring accurate management of agreements, obligations, and deadlines for a growing multi-state portfolio. The Legal & Shared Services team operates as a hospitality company that believes in providing excellent employee experiences, fostering a culture of doing right by people. This position offers substantive, multi-state commercial real estate transactional work in a growing in-house environment, contributing directly to the company's growth and real estate strategy.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of paralegal experience in commercial real estate from an in-house legal department or law firm.
  • Experience reviewing, drafting, and supporting commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing transactions.
  • Exceptional document management and organizational skills; able to manage multiple active matters simultaneously without losing accuracy or missing deadlines.
  • Excellent time-management and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems.
  • Discreet, professional, and able to handle confidential business and transaction information with complete discretion.

Nice To Haves

  • Paralegal certificate or related degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review, draft, and provide support in negotiating commercial real estate transactions including leases, purchase and sale agreements, title documents, closing documents, letters of intent, and financings.
  • Administer template-based leasing and improvement-related agreements for review, negotiation, and final approval.
  • Work closely with internal and external property management to ensure professional administration of all tenant-related agreements.
  • Maintain organized case files and transactional records within the company's contract management system and document depositories, tracking agreement statuses, expiration dates, renewal options, and key obligations.
  • Manage transaction timelines and maintain excellent communication with senior management, attorneys, lenders, title companies, and other parties.
  • Coordinate contract execution, managing signature workflows, maintaining executed agreement files, and ensuring proper document retention.
  • Provide due diligence support for real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financings, developments, and leasing matters.
  • Research state-specific real estate contracting requirements across all Swickard operating jurisdictions.
  • Support senior management and the in-house legal department with additional transactional and corporate matters.
