About The Position

Stinson LLP seeks an Attorney with at least two years of commercial real estate experience to join our Minneapolis office. Our nationally recognized commercial real estate practice represents developers, institutional investors, lenders, REITs, private equity funds, hospitality companies, and other sophisticated clients in complex real estate transactions throughout the United States. Successful candidates will work directly with partners and clients and will have meaningful responsibility for drafting and negotiating transaction documents, managing due diligence, coordinating closings, and advising clients throughout the transaction process. The position offers significant mentoring, training, and opportunities for professional development within a collaborative commercial real estate practice. We seek attorneys interested in building a long-term practice and advancing within the Firm. Our attorneys routinely collaborate across offices on sophisticated transactions nationwide, providing associates with broad exposure to clients, industries, and deal structures. We value attorneys who are collaborative, entrepreneurial, practical, and committed to exceptional client service. Associates are encouraged to develop strong client relationships and progressively assume lead responsibility on transactions.

Requirements

  • Active Minnesota attorney license
  • At least two years of experience in complex commercial real estate transactions, including purchase and sale, financing, and leasing
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Strong research, writing, analytical, organizational and communication skills

  • Real estate development and finance experience
  • Experience with acquisitions and dispositions, development, commercial leasing, real estate finance, title and survey matters, joint ventures, and related transactional work
  • Judicial clerkship experience
