About The Position

The Commercial Manager will oversee and manage all commercial aspects of projects for Primoris Energy Services, focusing on Hubbard, Texas operations. This role is crucial for ensuring project profitability, managing contracts, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in commercial management within the energy services or construction industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale commercial contracts and projects.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, commercial terms and conditions, and risk management principles.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to project sites and client meetings.

  • Experience with Primoris Services Corporation or similar large-scale energy infrastructure companies is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to achieve project goals and maximize profitability.
  • Negotiate, draft, and administer contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Monitor project performance against budgets and schedules, identifying and addressing any deviations or potential risks.
  • Manage change orders and claims, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting for projects.
  • Collaborate closely with project management, engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Identify new business opportunities and support bid and proposal efforts.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior commercial staff as required.
