About The Position

Arkansas Talent Group is partnering with a well-established community bank in Central Arkansas to find an experienced Commercial Loan Officer. This is an excellent opportunity for a relationship-driven commercial lender who enjoys working closely with local businesses and wants to make a meaningful impact within the community. The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of commercial lending experience, strong credit and financial analysis skills, and the ability to develop and manage relationships with small business clients. This individual will be responsible for identifying lending opportunities, structuring appropriate financial solutions, managing a commercial loan portfolio, and developing new business throughout the Central Arkansas market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field preferred
  • 3+ years of commercial lending experience
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing commercial or small business banking relationships
  • Strong understanding of commercial credit, underwriting, financial statement analysis, and portfolio management
  • Strong business development and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making abilities
  • Established connections within the Central Arkansas business community or demonstrated ability to develop a strong local network
  • Team-oriented approach and commitment to exceptional client service

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and grow relationships with commercial and small business clients
  • Identify new lending opportunities through existing relationships, referrals, networking, and community involvement
  • Evaluate commercial credit requests and analyze financial statements, cash flow, collateral, and overall creditworthiness
  • Structure and recommend lending solutions based on client needs and bank guidelines
  • Manage an existing commercial loan portfolio, including ongoing credit quality and relationship management
  • Partner with clients to understand their businesses and provide solutions that support their financial goals
  • Develop deposit and broader banking relationships in conjunction with commercial lending opportunities
  • Participate in community, networking, and business development activities throughout Central Arkansas
  • Collaborate with credit, operations, retail banking, and bank leadership to provide a high level of client service
