About The Position
The Commercial Loan Officer II is responsible for obtaining and developing new loans while managing an existing loan portfolio. This role requires expertise in various loan types including Construction (Commercial and Consumer), Commercial, Commercial Real Estate, Consumer, and Consumer Real Estate Loans. The position involves promoting BancFirst services through cross-selling banking products, participating in community events, and consistently executing policies and procedures. Extraordinary customer service and outside business development calls are essential. This is an onsite, full-time position.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree required (Business major or Formal Credit training preferred)
- Minimum 5 years experience as an underwriting Commercial Loan Officer
- Experience in negotiating loan workouts and asset liquidations
- Must have ability to analyze complex financial data and write detailed credit memorandums
- Must have current working knowledge of Regulatory Compliance requirements including, but not limited to, RESPA, HMDA, and Fair Lending
- Must have ability to grow quality portfolio with annual performance goals
- Promote Retail/Cash Management products to new and existing relationships
- Willing to participate in community events
- Outside business development calls required
- Work well under stress and deadlines while managing multiple tasks
- Must be able to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing
- Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function of this position
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 5 years commercial lending experience preferred
