About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven professional to join a growing commercial insurance team focused on driving new business and developing long-term client relationships. This individual will be responsible for generating revenue growth through prospecting, relationship building, and consultative selling within commercial markets. Industry experience in sectors such as construction, commercial real estate, manufacturing, industrial, or similar business segments is highly preferred.

Requirements

  • 2–4+ years of experience in commercial insurance, business-to-business sales, or a related consultative sales environment.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
  • Highly motivated, organized, and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • Proven ability to engage with business owners and senior-level decision-makers.
  • Excellent follow-up, listening, and customer service skills.
  • Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment while managing individual performance goals.

Nice To Haves

  • Industry experience in sectors such as construction, commercial real estate, manufacturing, industrial, or similar business segments is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with or selling into industries such as construction, commercial real estate, manufacturing, industrial, or similar sectors is a plus.
  • College degree preferred; insurance designations or licensing are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new commercial business opportunities with small to mid-sized organizations.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads through networking, outreach, referrals, and business development activities.
  • Conduct meetings with prospective clients to understand operational risks, insurance needs, and business goals.
  • Present tailored solutions and communicate value effectively to decision-makers and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Manage sales activity and pipeline updates within CRM systems to ensure accurate tracking of appointments, follow-up, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal account management and service teams to support client onboarding and retention efforts.
  • Develop strong relationships within targeted industries and become a trusted resource for commercial insurance solutions.
  • Support team initiatives and contribute to a collaborative sales environment.
