About The Position

Seeking a motivated and results-oriented Commercial Lines Producer to join a dynamic team. This role involves developing and managing a book of commercial insurance business while cultivating strong relationships with clients and prospects. The ideal candidate is an energetic and driven individual with a passion for providing tailored insurance solutions for businesses of all sizes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Insurance Producer or in a similar sales-driven role within the insurance sector.
  • Active property & casualty insurance license (required).
  • Exceptional ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Demonstrated expertise in commercial insurance products, coverage options, and risk management principles.
  • Strong negotiation and sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a customer-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of commercial clients by actively prospecting for new business opportunities through referrals, networking, and community engagement.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, offering consultative guidance to meet their unique insurance needs.
  • Assess clients' risk profiles and recommend appropriate coverage options to protect their assets and operations.
  • Prepare and present customized insurance proposals to prospective and existing clients.
  • Negotiate terms and pricing with insurance carriers to deliver cost-effective and competitive solutions.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of applications, endorsements, and policy renewals.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and available insurance products to provide expert insights.
  • Collaborate with internal support teams to provide seamless client service and ensure all deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Proactively address and resolve client inquiries or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Participate in sales and marketing initiatives, including attending community events, networking opportunities, and industry functions.
