Requirements

  • Property & Casualty Insurance License
  • Minimum 2–3 years of commercial lines account management experience
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance underwriting and coverages
  • Experience in commercial insurance client service and account management
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and agency management systems

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AMS360, EPIC, or similar agency management platforms
  • Ability to negotiate with carriers and advocate for clients
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Professional designations such as CIC or CISR

Responsibilities

  • Manage and service a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, providing responsive day-to-day support and issue resolution
  • Coordinate expirations with producers to obtain renewal and new business information
  • Collaborate with carriers and underwriters to market, negotiate, and place coverage
  • Assist in marketing new and renewal business by requesting carrier quotations and verifying specifications
  • Provide claims assistance, policy servicing, and ongoing support throughout the client lifecycle
  • Prepare proposals, presentation materials, and renewal strategies that support client retention and growth
  • Review policies and endorsements for accuracy in rating, coverages, and compliance
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation within agency management systems such as AMS360 or EPIC
  • Ensure compliance with agency E&O guidelines and documentation standards
  • Document client interactions and maintain appropriate follow-up activities
  • Issue certificates, auto ID cards, and other client documentation promptly and accurately
  • Support audits, reporting, and administrative processes as needed
  • Assist in identifying coverage considerations and risk management opportunities for clients
  • Partner with producers on new business opportunities and renewal strategies
  • Support client presentations, proposals, and carrier negotiations
  • Contribute to retention and revenue growth initiatives through proactive account management and exceptional service
