About The Position

Environment Control is hiring a Landscape Crew Lead to oversee maintenance properties in Tucson and surrounding areas. The role combines hands-on landscape work with directing and motivating a crew, and requires maintaining high-quality results at an efficient pace in a physically demanding outdoor environment. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with hours varying by season. Pay is $17.00–$19.00 per hour, based on experience and driving eligibility. A company vehicle is provided while on the clock; employees must provide their own reliable transportation to and from the main office.

Requirements

Strong leadership and communication skills to manage and motivate a crew and communicate with management.
At least 1 year of verifiable work experience within the last 5 years.
A clean, valid Arizona driver's license held for the last 5 years to drive company vehicles.
Driving record free of at-fault accidents, suspensions, or major moving violations.
Own reliable transportation to and from the main office daily.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Experience with irrigation systems and timers.

Responsibilities

Direct and work alongside the crew on landscape maintenance duties, including trimming, weeding, mowing, raking, and debris removal.
Apply proper pruning knowledge to keep properties healthy and well-maintained.
Maintain high quality control while working at an efficient, energetic pace.
Manage, motivate, and communicate effectively with the crew and management.
