About The Position

The Commercial Landscape Crew Leader directs crew members and equipment and plans and executes assigned work. The role enhances the appearance and value of properties by leading daily grounds and turf maintenance, including planting, trimming, mowing, weeding, mulching, and fertilizing. The Crew Leader may learn to diagnose insect, disease, and cultural or environmental conditions affecting turf and shrubs, communicates with management and clients about landscape needs, and operates and maintains landscape equipment. The position is onsite in Columbus, Ohio, with travel expectations of up to 25%.

Requirements

Love of the outdoors.
Ability to complete the Davey landscape career development books upon hire.
Ability to complete the Davey first aid, CPR, and defensive driving course upon hire.

Nice To Haves

Background in horticulture or landscaping.
Knowledge of turf, weeds, and tree and shrub identification.
