About The Position

GroundSystems is hiring a Landscape Crew Leader to oversee daily operations and lead a team of 1–4 crew members on commercial landscape enhancement projects in Blue Ash, Ohio. This is a hands-on outdoor leadership role focused on completing work safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. The Crew Leader leads by example, supports team members’ development, and helps deliver high-quality landscaping work. The position offers year-round, full-time employment and opportunities for career advancement.

Requirements

• Be at least 20 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record; no CDL is required.
• Be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Have basic English communication skills.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Have a dependable, positive attitude and the ability to work well with others.

Nice To Haves

• Previous landscaping or groundskeeping experience.
• Familiarity with equipment such as mowers, weed eaters, blowers, pruners, and hand saws.
• Experience leading, training, or supervising a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and organize the daily work of a crew of 1–4 team members.
• Assign tasks and help maintain an efficient workflow.
• Train, mentor, and support crew members.
• Maintain quality standards across landscaping enhancement projects.
• Perform and guide mowing, pruning, planting, and general groundskeeping.
• Maintain perennial beds and other landscaped areas.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment.
• Operate company trucks and trailers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
