About The Position

Great Outdoors is hiring an experienced Landscape Crew Leader to head a residential and commercial design-build and maintenance team in the Ann Arbor, MI area. We offer a starting wage of $24.00 – $28.00 per hour. Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on landscaping experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to our shop in Ann Arbor, MI.
• Ability to lift 50lbs +, complete physical labor, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Familiarity with operating standard landscaping equipment and willingness to use company software platforms.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of direct experience specifically as a landscape crew leader or foreman.
• A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and motivate landscaping crew members while monitoring job progress, quality, and crew productivity.
• Work alongside your crew on residential and commercial projects, performing physical tasks such as planting, maintenance, hardscaping, and installations.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and up to company standards while interpreting site plans, project specifications, and layouts.
• Communicate effectively with management, team members, and clients regarding project updates and details.
