About The Position

General Parts Group is hiring experienced commercial kitchen service technicians in the Madison, Wisconsin area. Technicians service and repair restaurant equipment at customer locations, including restaurants, hospitals, schools, and other commercial kitchens. The role can focus on commercial cooking equipment, commercial refrigeration, or both. Technicians work independently in the field and have access to a company vehicle. General Parts Group provides foodservice equipment support across 26 states, with a field service force of more than 200 technicians. The company encourages technicians to pursue CFESA training certifications and invests in employee training and career growth.

Requirements

• Experience working on commercial kitchen equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• EPA certification is required for refrigeration technicians.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with commercial cooking equipment, commercial refrigeration, or both.
• CFESA training certifications.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair commercial restaurant equipment at customer locations.
• Work on commercial cooking equipment such as fryers, ovens, and grills, commercial refrigeration such as walk-ins, ice machines, and reach-ins, or both.
• Work independently in the field.

Benefits

• Hourly rates start at $25.00 per hour and go up to $45.00 per hour based on experience.
