About The Position
General Parts Group is hiring experienced commercial kitchen service technicians in the Madison, Wisconsin area. Technicians service, repair, and maintain restaurant and other foodservice equipment at customer locations, including restaurants, hospitals, schools, and commercial kitchens. The work may focus on commercial cooking equipment, commercial refrigeration, or both. The company supports technicians with a company vehicle, steady commercial service work, and opportunities for training and career growth.
Requirements
- Experience working on commercial kitchen equipment.
- Valid driver’s license.
- EPA certification is required for refrigeration technicians.
- Ability to work independently in the field.
Nice To Haves
- CFESA training certifications are encouraged.
- CFESA Master Certification is noted as a high-level achievement among technicians.
Responsibilities
- Service and repair commercial kitchen and restaurant equipment at customer locations.
- Work on commercial cooking equipment such as fryers, ovens, and grills, commercial refrigeration equipment such as walk-ins, ice machines, and reach-ins, or both.
- Provide service in settings including restaurants, hospitals, schools, and commercial kitchens.
