About The Position
BCI Mechanical is seeking experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technicians who take pride in their work and want to build a long-term career with a company that invests in its people. For over 25 years, BCI Mechanical has delivered exceptional commercial HVAC service throughout the Kansas City metro. This role involves servicing a wide variety of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, diagnosing equipment issues, performing repairs, completing preventive maintenance, and communicating directly with customers.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC service experience
- EPA Universal Certification
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Nice To Haves
- NATE Certification
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS)
- Experience servicing multiple commercial HVAC equipment manufacturers
- Working knowledge of Building Automation Controls
Responsibilities
- Service a wide variety of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including Rooftop Units (RTUs), Split Systems, Air Handlers, Variable Air Volume (VAV) Systems, Chillers, Boilers, Make-Up Air Units, and Exhaust & Ventilation Systems.
- Diagnose equipment issues.
- Perform repairs.
- Complete preventive maintenance.
- Communicate directly with customers.
