About The Position

K&D Factory Service is seeking experienced Commercial HVAC/R Service Technicians to service commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and food service equipment at restaurants, schools, hospitals, and nursing homes across Pennsylvania. The company operates from branches in Harrisburg, York, Lancaster, Williamsport, Allentown, Altoona, and Scranton. Applicants should have at least two years of industry or related experience. The position includes dispatched service work, on-call duties, and use of a company-issued service vehicle and equipment.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience servicing HVAC/R systems or working in a related industry.
• EPA Level 2 certification at minimum.
• A driving record that aligns with the company’s safety standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Strong knowledge of electrical or mechanical systems is encouraged.
• CFESA certification or manufacturer training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform dispatched service calls and diagnose and repair issues with commercial equipment.
• Accurately report service activities on a tablet after every call.
• Provide an excellent customer experience while supporting customers and partnering with internal team members.
• Work an on-call schedule, including overtime work.
• Operate and manage company-issued vehicles, tools, and equipment according to company guidelines.
