About The Position

The Commercial HVAC Installer II performs field installation activities, preventative maintenance, inspections, system start-ups, and emergency repairs. The role ensures safe and efficient system operation in accordance with design specifications and customer requirements. It requires thorough troubleshooting, adherence to safety standards, and effective communication with clients to manage expectations and support customer satisfaction. The position also involves repairing generators, responding to emergency calls, and commissioning new systems. The company provides the tools, equipment, vehicle with gas card, clothing, laptop, and cell phone needed for the role.

Requirements

Experience with HVAC installation and service in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Experience performing routine maintenance and warranty work on HVAC systems.
Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting system malfunctions and repairing HVAC or ATC systems.
Experience recharging refrigerant, checking for leaks, and ensuring proper operation of air-conditioning and refrigeration refrigerant cycles.
Current New Hampshire driver's license.
EPA 608 certification for refrigerants.

Responsibilities

Perform HVAC field installation activities.
Carry out preventative maintenance, inspections, and warranty work.
Start up and commission new systems.
Respond to emergency calls and perform emergency repairs.
Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC or ATC system malfunctions and perform appropriate repairs.
Repair generators.
Recharge refrigerant, check for leaks, and verify proper refrigerant-cycle operation in air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
Perform energy-efficiency upgrades, such as installing smart thermostats or sealing ducts.
Communicate with clients to manage expectations and support satisfaction.
Follow safety standards and ensure systems operate efficiently according to design specifications and customer requirements.
