Requirements

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools.
Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic construction math.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Comfortable using computers, mobile devices, and other technology.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Complete background check and drug screen in accordance with company guidelines.
Highschool Diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

Previous glass installation experience preferred; 3+ years of carpentry or related trade experience may also be considered.

Responsibilities

Installing and replacing residential and/or commercial glass.
Measuring, cutting, handling, and installing glass and related materials.
Reading work orders, blueprints, and specifications.
Using hand and power tools to complete quality installations.
Diagnosing installation challenges and finding practical solutions.
Interacting directly with customers and providing professional, friendly service.
Keeping your work area, tools, and company vehicle clean and organized.
Following company safety procedures and industry best practices.
Completing jobs efficiently while never sacrificing quality.
Representing the Portland Glass brand with professionalism at every customer interaction.
