About The Position

AutoZone is hiring a full-time Commercial Driver to deliver automotive parts to commercial customers using company-provided vehicles. The role is part of a customer-focused store team and involves safe, timely deliveries, loading and unloading parts, collecting returns and pickups, processing payments, and maintaining delivery vehicles. No commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required.

The driver provides professional customer service and automotive advice, works collaboratively with store personnel and commercial accounts, and follows company delivery processes, safety policies, and PPE guidelines. Candidates need to be at least 18, have a valid driver’s license, basic automotive-parts knowledge, and the ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise. The schedule is flexible and may include mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and adhere to AutoZone driver safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a full-time flexible schedule that may include mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both Spanish and English.
• Previous automotive retail experience.
• Valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver WOW! Customer Service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear and professional automotive advice, and offering installation services.
• Collaborate with store personnel and commercial accounts to support teamwork and strong customer relationships.
• Maintain efficient delivery operations, meet time and accuracy goals, and follow company policies.
• Drive company-provided vehicles to deliver automotive parts safely and on time to commercial customers.
• Load and unload parts accurately according to route schedules.
• Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Follow PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies.
• Process customer payments securely and according to company policies.
• Stay informed about promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems.
• Maintain delivery vehicles and promptly report any issues.
