About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams provide customer service and automotive parts solutions while supporting store operations. As a Commercial Driver, you will use safe driving skills to deliver automotive parts to commercial customers in a company-provided vehicle. The role does not require a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and offers career stability and growth opportunities in an essential industry.

The position combines delivery operations with customer service, teamwork, accurate transaction processing, and vehicle care. Drivers work with store personnel and commercial accounts, follow safety and company policies, and help ensure timely, accurate deliveries.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and comply with AutoZone’s driver safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Must be able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Must be available for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• A valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Provide WOW! customer service to commercial customers and DIY shoppers, including clear and professional automotive advice and offering installation services.
• Coordinate with store personnel and commercial accounts to support teamwork and strong customer relationships.
• Maintain efficient delivery operations and meet time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
• Drive company-provided vehicles to make safe, timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers.
• Load and unload parts accurately according to route schedules.
• Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Follow personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines and fleet safety policies.
• Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
• Stay informed about promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems.
• Maintain delivery vehicles and promptly report any issues.
