About The Position

AutoZone is hiring a full-time Commercial Driver to deliver automotive parts to commercial customers using company-provided vehicles. The role focuses on safe, accurate, and timely deliveries, customer service, communication, and coordination with store personnel and commercial accounts. No Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.

The driver also loads and unloads merchandise, collects returns and other parts, processes customer payments, follows PPE and fleet safety policies, stays current on products and promotions through AutoZone systems, and maintains delivery vehicles by reporting issues promptly. The schedule is flexible and may include mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and comply with AutoZone’s driver safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver WOW! Customer Service to commercial customers and DIY shoppers, including clear, professional automotive advice and offering installation services.
• Work with store personnel and commercial accounts to support collaboration and strong customer relationships.
• Maintain efficient delivery operations, meeting time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
• Drive company-provided vehicles to deliver automotive parts safely and on time.
• Load and unload parts accurately according to route schedules.
• Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Follow PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies.
• Process customer payments securely and according to company policies.
• Stay updated on promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems.
• Maintain delivery vehicles and promptly report any issues.
