About The Position

AutoZone is hiring a full-time Commercial Driver to deliver automotive parts to commercial customers using company-provided vehicles. The role supports AutoZone’s store teams and customer-first service by making safe, timely deliveries, maintaining positive customer relationships, and assisting with automotive product questions and installation services. A commercial driver’s license (CDL) is not required.

The driver loads and unloads merchandise, follows scheduled routes, collects returns and parts, processes payments, and maintains delivery vehicles. The position requires adherence to fleet safety and PPE policies, along with availability for a flexible schedule that may include mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and compliance with AutoZone’s driver safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver WOW! Customer Service to commercial customers and DIY shoppers; provide clear, professional automotive advice and offer installation services.
• Collaborate with store personnel and commercial accounts to support teamwork and customer relationships.
• Maintain efficient delivery operations and meet time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
• Drive company-provided vehicles to deliver automotive parts safely and on time.
• Load and unload parts accurately according to route schedules.
• Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Follow PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies.
• Process customer payments securely and according to company policies.
• Stay informed about promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems.
• Maintain delivery vehicles and promptly report any issues.
