About The Position

Overhead Door Company of St. Joseph™, a DH Pace Company, Inc., is hiring experienced and trainee Commercial Door Service Technicians to work in the St. Joseph Metro and surrounding areas. The role involves servicing and repairing commercial garage doors and related hardware. Candidates with experience in general labor, carpentry, field service, mechanics, glazing, or other skilled trades are encouraged to apply. The employer provides a company truck and fuel, tool and boot allowances, and paid training.

Requirements

A valid driver's license and a good driving record.
Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds.
Comfort working at heights and using a ladder.
Successful completion of employment verifications, a background check, a drug screen, and a driving-record check if applicable, before hire.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Mechanical, carpentry, or service industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Repair and service commercial garage doors and door hardware.
Identify opportunities to recommend products and services to customers.
