About The Position

DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking Commercial Door Technicians in Tucson, Arizona, and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, has troubleshooting experience, and provides good customer service. A valid driver’s license and good driving record are required.

The role involves installing and repairing a wide range of commercial doors, door hardware, and dock equipment, while identifying opportunities to offer customers related products and services. Technicians are expected to perform their duties in a safety-conscious manner. The company is family-owned and privately held, with more than 60 offices across the continental United States and annual sales exceeding $1 billion. DH Pace operates in the distribution, installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial, industrial, and residential door, docking, and security products.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds independently, and to bend, climb, and stand for extended periods.
• Experience with small motors and hand tools.
• Mechanical and technical aptitude.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of commercial automatic door experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and/or repair commercial doors and door hardware, including roll-up doors (also known as dock doors), dock equipment, high-speed rolling doors, and commercial entry doors.
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services.
• Operate in a safety-conscious manner while performing job duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
